Camera Obscura The tent is a portable unit that can be erected in any desired location because of its free standing aluminum structure. It is capable of producing a photographic negative of approximately 12 ft x 5 ft in size. These are then developed and turned into positives by contact printing. The camera was setup in several locations to take images of Glasgow. Some of the results were exhibited at the Intermedia gallery in 2004.

The Camera Obscura is a unique artwork that allows individuals to participate in the process of capturing a photographic image whilst actually being inside the camera. It takes the form of a 12ft x 15ft ex-army canvas tent which has been converted into a camera and darkroom.
